I’ve got some exciting news! Our talented digital artist, Laura Reau, has some PhotoShop work on display at a coffee shop in Belltown. It’s a brand new coffee shop called Bedlam Coffee at 2^nd and Bell in Belltown. She has digital photo composite art on the wall now, we are unsure of the end date. She is not the only artist currently hanging, but she has four photographs. Check them out and grab a great cup of coffee all in one place! 

Omega Photo will be closed Sunday June 7, 2009 for remodeling. We will be replacing counters and reworking our layout. We will resume normal operations on Monday. Come check out the store this week so that you can get the before and after view. Also, make sure to stock up on all your favorite photo equipment for the nice weekend ahead.  It has also come to my attention that there is a firmware update for the Canon 5D Mark II. It is currently available on their website. Click here for the update. Remember to fully charge your battery or use an AC cable before performing the update. Power failure may disable your camera and subsequently, your camera may need to be sent in for service if this happens. The firmware update will allow for more control while shooting video.
